Miss Marcia Crossley Cohen

Ballet Instructor in Newmarket / Aurora

Ms Cohen has come to CDA from the Bayview School of The Arts. She has been a principal teacher of The Midhurst School of Classical Ballet, Pavlechenko Dancers, City Ballet, has taught at the Boston School of Ballet and for Diana Jablakova Vorps at the School of Classical Ballet on Avenue Road, Toronto. Marcia was the first soloist for the Toronto Regional Ballet Company. Ms. Crossley is a full lifetime member of the CDTA and certified examiner. Her training includes Mildred Wickson, Celia Franca, Diana Jablakova Vorps, a scholarship to the National Ballet School from  Celia Franca, and training with Boris Volkoff. She was a Professional dancer at the Boston Ballet and was partnered by Sergio Stefanski and has done t.v. performances. Marcia has received the following reviews;

She has always had ballet as her passion and excels in teaching classical ballet to many dancers. She lives in Newmarket with her husband and is loving passing on her knowledge and joy for ballet to all our dancers. She is thrilled with their progress this season!
