Miss Francesca Morelli

Dance Instructor and Office Administrator in Newmarket / Aurora

Francesca Morelli has been immersed in the world of dance since the age of two, developing a lifelong passion for movement, creativity, and artistic expression.

Francesca began her dance training at Dansecore School of Dance, where she became a competitive dancer at the age of six in a variety of disciplines, including jazz, tap, ballet, pointe, lyrical, and contemporary. During her time at Dansecore, she completed all of her Royal Academy of Dance (RAD) ballet examinations, building a strong technical foundation and appreciation for the art of dance.

She later continued her competitive dance training at The Dance Loft, further refining her technique, performance quality, and versatility as a dancer while continuing to grow.

Francesca attended St. Elizabeth Catholic High School as a member of the Regional Arts Program in Dance, where she deepened her knowledge of dance through intensive training and performance opportunities. She then earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts (Honours) in Dance from York University, specifically in Choreography and Performance. Throughout her university studies, Francesca had the privilege of working alongside accomplished faculty members and choreographing for York University's Dance Innovations showcases, including Era of Oddities and Lifting the Veil.

Francesca is currently pursuing her Bachelor of Education at Nipissing University, where she is preparing to become a certified teacher. Her passion for education stems from her love of working with children and her belief that dance offers opportunities to build confidence, creativity, discipline, and self-expression. She is dedicated to creating a positive, inclusive, and supportive environment where every dancer feels encouraged to grow, challenge themselves, and develop a lifelong love of dance.

Francesca is excited and honoured to be a part of the CDA team. She looks forward to sharing her passion, knowledge, and enthusiasm with every student while inspiring dancers to reach their full potential. She is committed to helping each dancer build confidence, develop strong technical skills, and create lasting memories in a fun, encouraging, and supportive classroom environment.
